After watching executives at public companies get walked out by HR on a random Tuesday, Dan quit corporate finance, cold-mailed 900 brochures from his house, and landed his first fractional CFO client off two callbacks out of the entire batch.
He bought a dormant consulting firm called The Strategic CFO with two clients in 2017 and grew it to 10-15 active clients, an outsourced accounting team of 28 CPAs in Mexico, and a franchise model launching nationwide where independent controllers can double their income.
