Beach House Logos
A 25-Year Niche in Vacation-Rental Branding

The Business
Beach House Logos supplies branded welcome gifts, apparel, and amenities to professionally managed vacation rental companies, roughly 400 of them across the country. The model is deliberately light: print-on-demand with no owned inventory, and revenue that recurs year after year as rental managers restock. Against national giants that compete on price, Beach House wins on something harder to copy, twenty-five years of knowing exactly what a vacation rental operator needs at the door.
Steve Zimmerman founded the company in 2001 after walking away from running a $325M corporate division rather than relocate his family a sixth time in fifteen years. He and his wife Heidi ran it together for a quarter century. Selling was a quality-of-life decision: simplify, focus on a second smaller venture, and stop being chained to the mailbox.
Transaction Timeline
How the Deal Happened
Beach House Logos drew steady buyer interest across its time on Rejigg, including four separate offers, but Steve held out for the right fit. When Brian Vella reached out in February 2026, the first call was almost entirely Big Ten football before business came up, and the deal moved at the speed good fits do: LOI that same month, diligence with financing already secured, and a close in May 2026, about twelve weeks end to end.
Deal Highlights
Founding Story
Started in 2001 by a founder who chose family roots over a sixth corporate relocation.
Strategic Buyer
Acquired by a signage-industry owner adding a complementary product line.
Fast Close
LOI to close in about twelve weeks, with financing secured before the first call.
Competitive Interest
Four offers received before the right strategic fit appeared.
The Buyer
Brian Vella owns United Image Group, a Michigan signage business roughly four times Beach House's size, and bought the company as a strategic bolt-on: adjacent product line, complementary customers, and production know-how already in place. A Marine Corps veteran active with the Folds of Honor scholarship charity, he came to the table with funding drawable on day one and no financing contingency.
