Prowest Electric Inc.
Powering a Legacy of Electrical Excellence

The Business
ProWest Electric started in 1993 with $600 charged to a credit card and zero customers. Three decades later it is a fixture of Denver Metro commercial electrical work, built around a deliberate niche: tenant build-outs and improvement projects for general contractors and property managers, chosen job by job for margin instead of chasing the open bid market. The strategy worked through every cycle, including 2008. The company has never had a losing year, and its services span lighting remodels, power upgrades, manufacturing installations, and full electrical system redesigns.
Allen Sauer was the company's only licensed master electrician and its owner, bookkeeper, HR department, and payroll clerk for more than 30 years. At 68 and healthy, he wanted to retire on his own terms and travel, and he was selling from strength rather than necessity. He stayed available to consult through the handoff so the company's license, relationships, and crew moved to the new owner without a wobble.
